Bruce Prior

Bruce Prior is a professional geographer. He is the Washington State manager of Summits On The Air, an amateur radio outdoor initiative. A long-time member of the American Alpine Club, he promotes outdoor safety. He has hiked parts of western sections of the trail. He is especially interested in encouraging thru-hikers to tackle the PNNST.
Fran Troje

Fran Troje has been active with the Mountaineers as a committee chair and worked within that organization to shift their support behind the PNNST. She is an advocate for trails access and the outdoor recreation community, and interested in building a strong board for the PNTA.
Bruce Vilders
Colville Board Member
Republic, WA
Bruce Vilders is a ranch owner in the Republic-Tonasket area of Okanogan County. Bruce is the owner-operator of an organic honey-bee pollination services. He is an avid hiker and horseback rider with interests in recreation along the PNNST.
Dawn Erikson
Dawn Erickson is a retired Forest Service manager. She managed the District Trails Program in Darrington Ranger District. Dawn has experience as a trail crew leader, forest fire fighter, as a reporter and a blaster. She is interested in trail survey and design, trail construction and maintenance, working with volunteers, and grant writing.

Greta Stough
Greta Stough is a founding principal of the Cabra Group. She has extensive experience in systems development for non-profit, government, and private industry. She has considerable volunteer work in outdoor recreation and environmental programs. Ms. Stough enjoys running, hiking, and backpacking in the Pacific Northwest. She resides in Bainbridge Island, Washington and attended Oberlin College and New York University.

Jim Fukuama
Jim Fukuyama is a retired research scientist and patent lawyer. He enjoys hiking, cycling, and works with the Skagit TMO on trail maintenance. He is interested in the trail maintenance organizations and various conservation and environmental related initiatives.

Steve Starlund
Mr. Starlund is a native of the northwest and has worked for parks, recreation and trails for over 25 years. His career includes recreation planner for the Washington Department of Natural Resources where he established trail construction standards and designed may miles of trail for hiking and equestrian recreationists . As manager for the State Parks Scenic River Program, he received the Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence for the protection of the Skykomish Scenic River System. He served as Executive Director for Volunteers for Outdoor Washington, Nisqually Land Trust and the Tahoma Audubon Society. More recently, he was the Resource Stewardship Manager for the Northwest Region of Washington State Parks, overseeing the care of natural, cultural and historic resources for 34 parks. He is co-founder of a branding and marketing consulting company – C&S Associates that trains non-profit organization in the art of authentic promotion. Currently he is the sole staff for Rockport State Park –a 480-acre old growth forest in the North Cascades foothills. He brings a wealth of community involvement experience and fundraising savvy. He has a passion for backpacking, trail building, writing and fine wine. “I’m excited about the potential of connecting the continental divide to the Pacific through a network of trail reaches and wilderness routes. This organization will soon take center stage for the best of the best of trails systems on the continent. I’m eager to be a part of PNTA team and move forward the vision and the goals.”
