AHS / PNTA Volunteer Vacations

American Hiking Society 2005 Volunteer Vacations,
hosted by the Pacific Northwest Trail Association

The Pacific Northwest Trail Association once agained partnered with American Hiking Society to host the 2005 Adult Volunteer Vacations. Work was done in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest this year, specifically on the High Divide, Welcome Pass, and Excelsior Ridge Trails. Work consisted of general trail maintenance, included tread work, waterbar installation/maintenance, check dams, brushing, switchback maintenance, revegging trail closures, and birm removal. We had some wonderful volunteers from all over come join us in the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie NF Wilderness. A much deserved thank you to all volunteers!

Again, the PNTA would like to extend a special thanks to the Backcountry Horsemen for all their efforts.
Without their help, these trips would not have been possible.
