Thank you for wanting to help the Pacific Northwest Trail Association protect and promote the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail and to enhance recreation and educational opportunities for the enjoyment of present and future generations. 

There are many ways you can help – from full-time permanent employment to a few hours volunteering on a specific project or Trail section: 

Permanent Positions

Seasonal Positions

Youth Trail Crew Leader (FT seasonal) on the Olympic Peninsula based out of Forks. The Trail Crew Leader will supervise Service Knowledge Youth (SKY) crews composed of local youth. Salary dependent on experience. Housing options are available.

Youth Trail Crew Members (FT seasonal) in the Okanogan Valley.  Crew members members are fully compensated (including meals) and expected to perform at a high level.  It is labor intensive, but also very rewarding teamwork.  All the while, crew members receive valuable training in First Aid/ CPR, safe food handling, tool maintenance and safety, trail building and maintenance techniques, and backcountry living.
