Sleepy Hollow Trail Work Party

Location:  Olympic National Forest – Ranger District
Difficulty:  Easy
Length:  one or more days
Spots Available:  no limit
Daily: August 30th – September 6th
Notes: No prior experience is required for this project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A PNTA Performance Crew will be working on the Sleepy Hollow Trail 852 from 8/30 to 9/6 and volunteers are welcome to join for as many days as they would like. Work will focus on brushing and logout but opportunities to do treadwork and maintain drainage features may be available.

This is a great chance to get out and see what life is like on a trail maintenance crew. Get outside, get some exercise, practice public land stewardship and enjoy the camaraderie and satisfaction that comes with a hard day’s work.

The project is rated easy and will have options for all abilities.
