Project Description

Join a PNTA crew leader to help clear the Wolf Trail system of fallen logs and do a bit of spring cleaning. Our crew leader needs volunteers to help with:

  • Conservation: litter collection and removal, invasive weed removal
  • Brush work: lop or hand saw the saplings, branches and bushes that grow too close to the trail, then move cut materials to the trailhead so the crew leader can haul them away*
  • Trail maintenance: touch up the surface of the trail and its drainage features

A crew leader will work on site for the duration of the trip, but volunteers are free to participate for as long as they like.

*Attention gardeners!: Brush cuttings may be available to haul home to your garden. Reach out to the Project Leader if you’re interested in this resource.

Attention neighbors: The PNTA could use a dedicated volunteer(s) to assist our local crew leader with periodic small projects around the Wolf system— at your mutual convenience. Please contact the Project Leader or vol@pnt.org if you’re interested in lending a hand with the Wolf trails at other times this year.
