The Elbow Lake Trailhead provides access to the Elbow Lake Trail 697 which serves as a feeder or access trail the Pacific Northwest Trail.
DIRECTIONS
The Elbow Lake Trailhead can be reached by following NF-38 east off of Mosquito Lake Road, which departs from Highway 9 just north of Acme, Washington. While not visible on all maps the Elbow Lake Trailhead is about a mile before the Ridley Creek Trailhead, which is on USFS and Google Maps.

A valid Recreation Pass is required at Elbow Lake Trailhead.
RESTRICTIONS
Forest Service Road 38 is closed and gated Dec. 1- June 15 at Wallace Creek, 2.8 miles before the trailhead to protect elk breeding habitat.
