The Sweat Creek Picnic Area has ample parking for day use, a vault toilet, and plenty of shady spots to lay out a picnic blanket. There is no plumbed water here, but you can draw and filter water from Sweat Creek.
The trailhead provides access to the Pacific Northwest Trail/ Maple Ridge Trail 302, and Clackamas Mountain Trail 312. The Fir Mountain Trail 320 segment of the PNT is located to the south across Highway 20.
- Located off a long, straight stretch of Hwy 20— on the north side— about nine miles west of Republic.
