Description

PNTA is proud to partner with Kula Cloth to support their mission to encourage Leave No Trace practices by normalizing conversations around hygiene through the use of an intentionally designed pee cloth.

Yes, that’s right, the Pacific Northwest Trail will be the first national scenic trail to be featured on a Kula Cloth®!

This reusable product is a great way to stay comfortable, maintain good hygiene, and have a positive impact on the environment at the same time! And every sale of the Mountains to Sea design benefits the PNTA through the Kula for a Cause program.

“As adventurers, it is our responsibility to protect and preserve our natural spaces. Many people carry toilet paper into the wilderness and scatter it — believing that it will simply disappear. By using a Kula Cloth®, you are reducing the amount of toilet paper that you have to carry into the wilderness!”

About the Design

The Mountains to Sea Design was created by Kelsey LeppekThe Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail, or PNT is a 1,200 mile trail corridor through some of the most spectacular and diverse landscapes in the United States offering endless opportunities for outdoor recreation. Most people will take a lifetime to explore all that the PNT has to offer.

The Mountains-to-Sea design, created by Kelsey Leppek, imagines a fantastic world where it’s possible to take in all of the breathtaking diversity found on the PNT from a single epic vista!

Each year, PNTA crew leaders like Kelsey provide trail stewardship and service-learning opportunities for youth and young adults from communities and schools near the trail. These trail crews perform over 80% of our annual maintenance and construction on the PNT.

Whether you work or play on the PNT, the experience can be life-changing, and your support helps make it all possible!
