The Park Creek Campground provides access to nearby Baker Lake and the historic Forest Road 1144 grade, part of the PNT which connects the Baker Lake Road to the Swift Creek Trail and Baker Hot Springs.
Free parking to access the trail is available beside a gate blocking the closed road at the end of the small campground. Overnight camping is available at the Park Creek Campground and nearby Swift Creek Campground.
Directions
- From the Mt. Baker Ranger District office in Sedro-Woolley, WA follow State Route 20 east for 16 miles to milepost 82
- Turn left (north) on the Baker Lake Highway (Forest Service Road 11)
- Continue for approximately 20.1 miles turn right onto Forest Service Road 1140
- Follow to the campground entrance
