The Snow Peak Trailhead provides the quickest summer access to the Snow Peak Cabin on the Kettle Crest, along the Pacific Northwest Trail in the Kettle River Range.
Directions
- From Republic, travel 7–8 miles east on Hwy 20
- Turn right at Hall Creek Rd/ FR 2050-000.
- Follow Hall Creek Rd for 3.3 miles
- Hall Creek Son-Park is on your right, at the junction (turn left) for Snow Peak FR 2050-100
- Follow Snow Peak FR 2050-100 for approx. 4.6 miles; parking and vault toilet on your left, trailhead on your right
- Note: At approx. 3.3 miles on FR 2050, stay left to continue up Snow Peak FR 2050-100
FACILITIES
The trailhead has parking spaces for several vehicles, and a vault toilet. There is NO WATER at this trailhead.
