Project Description
Are you interested in alternatives to volunteer trail work in the Okanogan Highlands?
Another popular way to volunteer is work at your own pace by scouting a trail. Volunteers just like you, are our eyes and ears across the PNT. Your mission, if you choose to adopt it:
- Register below to adopt a trail on Mount Bonaparte
- Hike or ride the trail of your choice in the spring of 2024
- Submit a trail Scouting Report by National Trails Day, Saturday June 1st
Caution: As an early season trail scout, you should be prepared for a slower and more physically challenging hike as you navigate over downed trees and other obstacles. Your report will help the PNTA and our partners coordinate trail maintenance across our region.
Register to Scout this Trail
A PNT website login/account is not required to register for events. After you register, you will receive a confirmation with email with a link to volunteer enrollment form that is required to participate.
By providing this information, you can ensure that your Scouting Report will have double the impact. Not only is the information you collect helpful, the time you spend scouting is too. Your volunteer hours may be used by the PNTA to unlock additional funding to support trail maintenance and construction projects on the PNT!
